Tour Options

When booking your day trip to Bruges from Brussels, you can choose one of the following options:

Guided Tour Only

At the designated time, we will meet in front of Brussels Central Station, and from there, we'll take a short panoramic bus tour of the Belgian capital. Next, we'll leave Brussels and travel to the Flanders region, located in the north of the country.

After a 1.5-hour drive, we'll arrive at Bruges. Welcome to the Venice of the North! Once here, we'll first take a short panoramic tour of Bruges. Without leaving the bus, we'll see the Kruisvest windmills and the medieval gates of Kruispoort and Gentpoort.

We'll conclude the panoramic tour at Bargeplein. Upon arriving at this park, we'll get out of the vehicle to enjoy a walking tour of Bruges.

During the city tour, we'll see the Lake of Love, the charming Walplein square, the narrow Stoofstraat alley, and the Beguinage, a complex founded in 1245 and inhabited by Benedictine nuns.

We'll continue our walk through the center of Bruges, passing other emblematic sites such as the medieval St. John's Hospital, the Church of Our Lady, the Grote Markt square, and St. Salvator's Cathedral.

After the walking tour of the old town, you'll have approximately 5 hours of free time in the center of Bruges for lunch and leisurely strolls.

Finally, in the afternoon, we'll meet again at Bargeplein park to begin our return journey by bus to the meeting point in Brussels, where this approximately 10-hour day trip will conclude.

Guided Tour + Boat Ride

In this case, we'll follow the same itinerary described in the previous option. You'll also enjoy a boat ride along the canals of Bruges, giving you the chance to experience the city from a different perspective.

Self-Guided Tour + Boat Ride

In this case, we'll follow the same panoramic tour of Brussels as the previous option, but we won't include a guide for your time in the center of Bruges.

Once we arrive at Bargeplein Park, we'll hand you a digital guide to Bruges with an interactive map and points of interest. From there, you'll have about 4 hours of free time to grab lunch and explore the center of Bruges at your own pace.

You'll also have a boat ride along the canals of Bruges included, giving you a different way to take in this Flemish city.

Finally, in the afternoon, we'll meet back up at Bargeplein Park in Bruges before heading back to Brussels together.

Why Book a Day Trip?

Booking the Bruges tour is the best way to visit the city because if you don't choose this tour, the train ticket alone costs anywhere between 20EUR and 30EUR, depending on the season. For a little more, you'll take a tour with an English-speaking guide in a small group.

Combine Destinations

You can also visit both Bruges and Ghent in one day with this Ghent and Bruges Day Trip.

Visita a Damme

Children Under 2

Children under 2 years old must travel on the bus in a baby seat. Please remember to bring your own car seat so that babies can participate in the activity.
