Enjoy the coastal towns of Gran Concepción, on this private tour. You'll tour the landscapes of this metropolitan area with a guide exclusively for you.
We'll start the private tour from your hotel in Concepción, where after picking you up at 9:30 am we'll head towards the most emblematic points of the metropolitan area of the city.
First of all, we'll start the tour in the Gran Concepción area by crossing the Biobío River. Did you know that this river marked the border between the Spanish and Mapuche territories? We'll pass to the other bank and visit the San Pedro de la Paz lagoon, which is home to a large colony of black-necked swans.
The route continues to the mouth of the Biobío River, which is located next to the Hualpén peninsula. There we'll visit the Pedro del Río Zañartu Museum Park and its natural environment, which has been declared a Nature Sanctuary. After admiring this spot on the Pacific coast, we'll travel to the town of Talcahuano.
We'll stop at the cove on the Tumbes Peninsula, which has a wide range of restaurants with views of Quiriquina Island and the Bay of Concepción. You'll then have an hour of free time to have lunch before heading to the Lenga de Concepción wetland, where we'll enjoy the sunset and go on a migratory bird-watching tour.
After this activity, we'll return to your hotel at 5:30 pm.
When booking a private tour, an exclusive guide will accompany you, and you'll be able to customize your itinerary, travel at your own pace, and even save money if you're travelling in a larger group - the best way to tour the Gran Concepción coast!
