In this pasta and pastry cooking class in Florence, we'll learn how to make a variety of Italian dishes and delicious desserts. What's more, we'll get to sample our creations.
At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Via Camillo Cavour. Then, we'll enter a cooking school in Florence and meet the chef with whom we'll spend the next few hours cooking. Ready to get cooking?
First, we'll start by gathering the ingredients we'll need for the pasta and pastry workshop. We'll measure the amount of flour and salt, beat the eggs, peel the potatoes - a perfect mise en place!
We'll make three different pasta dishes using both the rolling pin technique and the pasta machine. Of course, we'll also prepare three different sauces.
As there is always room for dessert, we'll enjoy a pastry workshop in which we'll learn how to make a dessert, choosing between vanilla pana cotta or strawberry coulis.
After enjoying the cooking to the fullest, we'll sit down and savor the delicious menu composed of the dishes we've been preparing ourselves. Is there a better reward for a job well done? Also, we'll pair the meal with an exquisite Tuscan wine.
Three hours and 15 minutes after the start of the class, we'll end this experience.
