With your ticket to Battleship Missouri Memorial, you'll visit the very site where Japan surrendered and ended WWII. Step into history!
If you find yourself in Honolulu or you're a World War II history buff, don't miss out on a visit to Battleship Missouri Memorial. This former warship saw plenty of battles throughout the 1940s. Classified as unbeatable, the ship became a major player within the U.S. military at the time.
With your ticket, you'll gain access to the ship's interior, and every corner is at your disposal for exploration. Walk through the installations and see daily life at sea during the war. Within the memorial, you'll find additional items perfectly preserved since the ship was retired from military service in 1992. Shortly after, the ship was turned into the ship museum we know now in 1995.
Enjoy the space at the Battleship Missouri Memorial and learn about the strategies implemented by the U.S. military during the battles of Okinawa and Iwo Jima during World War II, the Korean War, and the Pacific War.
During your visit, you'll find yourself in the very spot where the Japanese surrendered, ending World War II. Affectionately called "the Big Mo" by the ship's crew, this moment marked a before-and-after within human history.
The Battleship Missouri Memorial is open every day from 8 am to 4 pm.
