Both visits were very interesting. The guides were very competent and friendly. However, doing both visits in one day is quite tiring.

We did it in two days, luckily because doing both at the same time is tiring and we lacked appreciation.

Description

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Krakow. We'll board a comfortable bus and start our journey by road. Throughout the tour, you'll be joined by an experienced tour leader.

Once we've arrived at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, we'll begin this tour with a professional guide who will introduce you to the history of the two sites. For many this place isn't just a memorial site, but an important cultural symbol.

After learning all about Auschwitz and Birkenau and the Second World War in Poland, it's time for our second stop of the day: Wieliczka Salt Mine. Upon arrival, a local guide will tell us all about the past of this mine. You'll see amazing chambers, original sculptures, and the real places where the miners worked.

There will be a break for lunch on tour. However, we recommend bringing snacks with you.

After 11 hours, we'll drop you back off at your hotel.

Important

Visits to the camp are only permitted with authorized guides, not external ones. Your reservation will be confirmed once the camp assigns a guide, which will happen by 3 pm the day before your visit.
All operators require a minimum group size to be able to access the camp with a guide, so sometimes, if this is not reached, the activity could be cancelled or rescheduled.
On our side, tickets and guides are locked in as soon as the minimum group is reached, but in case of last-minute bookings, there might not be guides available, and the activity might be cancelled.
Tickets are non-transferable. Please make sure the name of each participant appears in the reservation exactly as it does on their ID, or else they won't be allowed in.
