In this glass painting workshop in Marmaris, you’ll create your own piece inspired by this ancient artistic tradition from the eastern Mediterranean. Time to get creative!
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at Çıldır, 105. After a short introduction, we’ll head into a local venue in Marmaris where we’ll take part in a glass painting workshop. Here, creativity takes center stage.
Before we dive into color, we’ll take a quick look at the history of glass painting, a delicate craft that has been part of Mediterranean and Eastern cultures for centuries.
Then we’ll get to know the materials and basic techniques. You’ll learn how to work with transparent paints and create striking depth effects using bold, vibrant colors. You can choose a geometric, floral, or traditional-inspired design and carefully transfer it onto your glass surface.
With every brushstroke, your artwork will start to come to life. Along the way, we’ll pause to refine details and steady our hand. Did you know that in glass painting, you don’t work from dark to light, but the other way around? It’s a small twist in logic that makes the technique both fascinating and challenging.
After finishing, we’ll let the piece dry and take a short break to relax. Once it’s ready, your artwork will be carefully framed, turning it into a lasting souvenir of the experience. We’ll wrap up the workshop by taking home your finished creation after around 2 to 2.5 hours.
You can book up to 1 hour in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
