Did you know that one of the world's most famous secret agents was in Matera? Now, you can follow James Bond's footsteps on this exciting tour and visit some of the spots where the film No Time To Die was filmed, one of the best-grossing James Bond films of all time.
At the time indicated, we'll meet on Via Alessandro Volta and start this James Bond tour in Matera, a route where we'll discover the intricacies of the filming of the last mission of the famous agent. Filmada in Matera in 2019, the film starred actors such as Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux.
Leaving Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where we'll tell you some facts about the city, we'll explore Via delle Beccherie, the street that connects Via Duomo with Matera's Roman Cathedral. Which scenes were filmed here?
We'll continue our James Bond tour as we explore narrow streets in the town before arriving at the Sassi di Matera, a characteristic collection of houses carved into the rock which make up the historic centre of this city. It won't come as a surprise that this place was chosen as the backdrop for the film!
In addition, we'll pass through Via Madonna delle Vitu, from where we'll admire the countryside in Gravina and remember the iconic scene where James Bond drives his Aston Martin at full speed.
Finally, we'll visit Piazza Giovanni Pascoli Square, one of the most beautiful spots in Matera's old town. Here, we'll end our tour after a 3-hour route.
