If you want to discover the charms and history of the island of Procida with an exclusive guide, this private tour is the perfect choice!
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Port of Procida, from where we'll start this private tour to this charming island in the Gulf of Naples.
We'll start our visit with a walk in Marina Corricella, the oldest village in Procida. Without a doubt, it's the perfect place to admire the typical fishermen's houses. From here, we'll start our walk towards the highest point of the island: Terra Murata, a medieval village where time seems to have stood still, and from where you'll enjoy an incredible view. Don't forget to take a few pictures!
Next, we'll reach the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo, one of the main attractions of Terra Murata. Did you know that this temple houses a legend related to St. Michael and the Saracens? The next stop will be the Palazzo D'Avalos, the Procida's ancient prison. Curious about the history of this impressive building? We'll reveal some very interesting details!
Finally, we'll conclude our private tour by returning to the port after 6 hours of sightseeing.
By booking a private tour, a personal guide will accompany you, and you'll be able to customise your itinerary, travel at your own pace, and even save money if you're travelling in a larger group!
