Most think that Saint-Émilion is all about wine, but there's more to this city than meets the eye! At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Place Pierre Meyrat and set off on a private tour of this medieval village in Aquitaine and learn about its history.
We'll stroll through this beautiful town's cobblestone streets as we learn about both its bourgeois past and the peasant population that lived here. Did you know that the town was divided in two to separate the social classes? We'll also tell you the legend of the Benedictine monk Émilion.
Then, we'll explore the Collegiate Church, the Archbishops' Palace, and the monolithic church. The image of the church carved into the rock is one of the town's greatest attractions and is sure to impress you!
Finally, after a 2-hour tour, we'll return to the starting point and end the guided tour.
