Travel back in time to the early 20th century during this exciting visit in Savannah. At the American Prohibition Museum, you'll learn about some of the highlights of the many restrictions that took place in the United States during this era, such as the historical Prohibition Act.
This is the only museum that, through photos, murals, videos and original objects, tells the story of the nationwide protests against alcohol that made the "alcohol problem" one of the main issues in American politics. Learn all about the famous 18th Amendment and its impact on the nation.
Throughout the different areas of the American Prohibition Museum, you'll also be introduced some of the major players of the time, such as gangsters, bar owners and reverends.
The American Prohibition Museum is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. The last permitted admission is at 4:15 pm.
