Embark on a journey to the heart of Upper Egypt with this exclusive private tour from Sharm el-Sheikh to Luxor, complete with airfare and entrance fees to the Valley of the Kings, Karnak, and Hatshepsut temples – an unmissable experience!
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and transport you to the airport. From there, a flight will whisk you away to Luxor. Buckle up for takeoff!
Upon arrival, a minibus awaits to take us to the renowned Valley of the Kings, an ancient burial site of pharaohs. Explore three tombs adorned with drawings and inscriptions on their underground walls. Uncover tales of tomb raiders and delve into the legends of the afterlife from Ancient Egyptian times.
After the Valley of the Kings tour, we'll make a brief stop at an alabaster workshop. If you want, you can buy some handcrafted figurines as souvenirs before heading to the funerary temple of Hatshepsut. Carved into a cliff, this structure pays homage to the sun god and was commissioned by one of history's oldest female pharaohs.
Explore this temple, renowned as one of the best-preserved in Ancient Egypt, and unravel the alleged animosity between Hatshepsut and her stepson, the heir to power, Thutmose III. Did the pharaoh truly order the eradication of all memories of his predecessor?
Next, we'll marvel at the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal stone statues of Amenophis III, each towering 14 meters (46 feet) tall! Journey over 3,400 years back in time to unravel the life story of this pharaoh and other queens immortalized in this area.
Recharge with a buffet lunch at a Luxor restaurant before heading to the Karnak Temple. Did you know it ranks among the largest and oldest religious complexes in the world?
Karnak, a colossal Ancient Egyptian temple, took over 1000 years to build due to continuous expansions. Prepare to be awestruck by its renowned hypostyle hall!
Concluding our exploration, we'll return to the Luxor airport for the flight back. After approximately 17.5 hours in total, we'll drop you off at your hotel.
