Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the main entrance of the Vionta Winery to begin a guided tour of this outstanding wine tourism centre in Meaño, in the province of Pontevedra.

First, we'll be greeted with a welcome glass of wine before we visit the Vionta Winery, where we'll learn about Salnés Valley's winemaking tradition. We'll admire the landscape from the winery's viewpoint, which will offer us extraordinary panoramic views of the Ria de Pontevedra.

At the end of the winery tour, we'll have a tasting of 3 Albariño wines. Among the main varieties that we'll be able to taste, we can highlight the Vionta Godello, Depende and Vionta varieties.

The guided tour and Albariño tasting will last a total of 1.5 hours.

Tour Options

When booking your visit to the Vionta Winery, you can choose between the following options:

Tour + Preserves Tasting: if you choose this option, we’ll round out your visit and tasting of three wines from the Vionta winery with a delicious tasting of three canned seafood specialties from the Galician Rías: sardines, razor clams, and cockles. All of them are handcrafted by the renowned cannery A Conserveira. You’ll get to taste the finest delicacies from the Rías Baixas!
Tasting + Galician Cheese Tasting: with this option, you'll try three wines served with a board of three types of Galician cheeses: the famous Tetilla cheese, known all around the world for its unparalleled flavor and texture, and the unmistakable San Simón da Costa cheese, with its irresistible smoked flavor. Plus, you can taste the exquisite Galmesán cheese, a culinary treasure that has been made with passion and dedication since 2018 for true enthusiasts of Galician rural life.

9.4
